Shortly after noon local time on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, an American Airlines pilot flying over northeastern New Mexico reported seeing a long cylindrical object that appeared to be a long cylindrical shape moving at a high speed.
The incident was recorded on the aircraft’s cockpit audio recording, and the audio was later released to the public by The War Zone. The audio recording indicates that the pilot was unable to identify the long cylindrical object, which appeared to be flying in the opposite direction, and estimates that it may have been traveling at around 500 miles per hour.
The incident was investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the FBI, who stated that they were unable to confirm any sightings of the object in question. The FAA issued a statement saying that “a pilot reported seeing an object over New Mexico shortly after noon local time on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021. FAA air traffic controllers did not see any object in the area on their radarscopes.”
The incident has sparked renewed interest in UFOs and their potential existence, as well as increased speculation about the possibility of extraterrestrial life. While the official government response to the incident has been limited, some experts have suggested that the object may have been a missile or some other type of experimental military aircraft. Regardless of its origin, the incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing debate over the existence of UFOs and their potential impact on human life.
